  • Four Days of Torture (Or: the RNC)

After four very long and painful nights, we can all take a deep breath. The Republican National Convention is finally over. So let’s debrief.

  • Put a Fence Around Pence

A couple days ago, Trump announced his VP pick: Mike Pence. Uuuuughhhhh. This guy might not be as bad as the man Donald, but he is PRETTY close. Let’s take a look at his track record. (If you’re on Hillary’s email list, then you’ll probably know all about this stuff.)

  • Bernie Endorsed Hill!

If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard the news, BERNIE ENDORSED HILLARY!

This marks a significant moment in the election. Trending Tuesday on Twitter was #StrongerTogether, as in Democrats are stronger when they stand together.

  • What Happened, GOP?

We’ve all heard a lot this past week about the “Hillary email scandal.” Now, we all know that Hillary’s emails have been at the top of the news. Most people, like myself, frankly are tired of hearing about this—especially since the FBI declared that there was nothing further to investigate in the emails. So, why does the GOP insist on dragging this issue back up?

  • After Orlando

On June 12, 2016, Americans woke up to horrifying news. When I turned on my phone and checked social media, my whole feed was full of news about the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. As the day went on and the story slowly unfolded, Americans learned of a staggering 49 deaths and 53 injuries caused by Omar Mateen, the gunman who opened fire at a gay nightclub in the middle of the night.

  • The Misogynistic Monster

It’s time to discuss how awful Donald Trump is towards women! Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Trump has been known to label women with extremely derogatory terms. “Fat pig,” “dog,” and “bimbo” are only some of the words he’s pulled out of the dictionary to belittle women. He notoriously stated that Megyn Kelly had “blood coming out of her...whatever” when she asked him tough questions in an interview. Ughhh. He has used phrases like this to insult any woman who takes a stand against him—whether it’s Megyn Kelly, Rosie O’Donnell, Cher, Bette Midler, or others.

  • Hillary is "Heartless"? Think Again, Trump

The NRA recently endorsed Trump. Surprise, surprise. Trump was endorsed by the organization single-handedly responsible for putting guns in the hands of those who should not have them. In the speech he gave to the NRA, he called Hillary “heartless.” Oooookay, Trump. Let’s take a look at how incredibly wrong and off base this statement is.

  • Beware of Bernie's Bad Gun Policy

Bernie, I like you. I genuinely do. But I want to address something.

Progressive liberals, many of whom are teens, are eager to point out Bernie’s strong stances on economic equality and social issues. The fact of the matter is that Bernie and Hillary agree on many things (despite Hillary having a much stronger track record in her pursuit of social issues) and I admire Bernie’s passion for helping the financial underdog. But there’s one specific thing that really kills me that Bernie’s supporters seem eager to overlook: his record on gun control.

  • Bernie's Exclusionary Revolution

While in a search for good news links for the News Roundup section of Teens4Hillary a few days ago, I stumbled upon an article that I found fascinating. Written by Marcie Bianco, this gem of an opinion piece is titled What Hillary Clinton gets that Bernie Sanders doesn’t: Identity politics and was published by Quartz (give it a read now!!)

  • Halt the Hillary Hate

If you know anything about me, you know that I love Hillary Clinton. I’ve been infatuated with Hillary since 2008 when she ran against Barack Obama. One of the most iconic pictures from my childhood is a blurry photo of eight-year-old me holding a sloppily drawn sign for Hillary on Super Tuesday of that year. I didn’t know too much about politics back then, but I knew fervently that Hillary was my favorite candidate. I still remember my crushing disappointment when Hillary didn’t win the nomination (although admittedly I do love Obama). Flash forward to 2016, and we’re in the midst of a wild and unpredictable election.
